Bionanosens Training Workshop | 22nd and 23rd of November 2023

14:39, 08 November 2023

In the frame of the BIONANOSENS project, the French partners Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL) and  Lyon Ingénierie Projets (LIP) will be hosting the 2nd Training Workshop on November 22nd to 23rd, 2023.

This training workshop has been organized in collaboration with Mr. Gorazd Weiss, the Zentrum für Soziale Innovation, Austria (ZSI). Representatives of ZSI will present the Open Science management within Horizon Europe funded projects.

The event aligns with the goals of the TWINNING strategy devoted to the boosting of international collaboration and twinning in research and innovation activities between the best European Union and Ukrainian groups of scientists. The focus is on stimulating scientific excellence and innovation capacity of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Ukraine (IMBG) in the Analytical Biotechnologies area.

The main goal of the workshop is to broaden participants' research horizons and enhance their competencies in managing research results, fostering innovations in molecular bioelectronics, and improving skills related to international project writing and implementation.

The workshop will provide insights on key project information such as Open Science, IPR management, funding opportunities and budget considerations. In the meantime, experts from IMBG (Oksana Mantovska) and NASU (Marina Gorohovatska) will present respectively the « Development of innovation management system in Ukraine » and the « MSCA, ERA Chair and INFRA Calls – Integration of Ukrainian bionanomed scientists into ERA ».

Additionally, a training session on « Biosensor based on silicon technology » will be conducted by Prof A. Errachid and Prof N. Jaffrezic from University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL) and followed by laboratory experiences and a guided visit to the Analytical Sciences Institute (ISA). https://www.isa-lyon.fr/

A video will be issued on this occasion as a dissemination action of the consortium to a large public and will be the opportunity to transfer soft skills to the students attending the meeting.
